His graduation project entitled March Rhapsody won him the Best Director Award in the Short Film Category at the 4th FIRST International Film Festival. Having attained the highest academic results, he was admitted to the Master\u2019s program of the Department of Filmmaking in the University of Taiwan. During his studies, he directed A Boy\u2019s Prayer, a short film funded by the Taiwan Public Television and Taiwan Cultural Institute. The film has been selected for over 40 film festivals. At the end of the year 2014, he was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Macau government. In 2015 he directed his first Macau short film Come, the Light has been selected for a number of international film festivals. In addition, at the 9th FIRST International Film Festival, the film was honored with the Best Short Film Award.
