I tried to capture a moment: one day you meet someone you really like and enjoy being with, but at some point when you meet each other again, you suddenly feel estranged, as if the past never existed.<br \/>\nIn fact, films that depict authentic contemporary emotions of young people are lacking in mainland China. What I wanted to portray was the atmosphere when young people are together. Powerlessness, losing sight of the future, dedicating energy to love, friendship, entertainment, living day by day. It may seem nihilistic, but I find it romantic, and it&#8217;s something I wanted to celebrate in this film. The film was shot in early 2022, considering what happened afterwards, I believe that every time when young people gather together, it will become a small act of rebellion.
