Tao Jing is a professor at the Communication University of China and PhD supervisor. His representative works include FAREWELL MY CONCUBINE, LIFETIMES, HERO, HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS, UNDER THE HAWTHORN TREE, THE FLOWERS OF WAR, COMING HOME, ONE SECOND etc. He was the sound designer for both Opening and Closing Ceremony in 29th Summer Olympics in 2008, Beijing. He has won top Chinese film sound awards, Golden Rooster Awards for four times, won the Golden Reel Award twice in the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) in America. He also won Grand Technique Prize of Cannes International Film Festival, Best Sound for ASSG Award in Australian and Hong Kong Film Award.
