The film\u2019s inception parallels with the anxiety-filled summer of 2021. I faced a personal conundrum that was almost the zeitgeist of the time. Social media was filled with self-help articles. The issue was simultaneously abstract and concrete, spiritual and bodily. After enduring an absolute low point, I suddenly had the determination to resist : To create is the only path of resistance. Finding the determination made the content and form of this project quickly emerge, as if they were already standing by. I knew I wanted to make a movie with a mixture of fiction and fact : factual on the inside, fictional on the outside. In other words, It comes entirely from my experience, but was made and presented as a feature film.
