The guest credentials for the 20th FIRST International Film Festival are divided into four categories:Press Guests, Industry Guests, Public Education Guests and Observer Guests.

Online registration will be open from May 5 to June 30, 2026 (Beijing Time).

Before beginning your registration, please carefully read the 20th FIRST International Film Festival Guests Guidelines to understand the eligibility requirements and document submission guidelines.

FIRST guest credentials can only be applied for through the official festival website. Applicants must complete registration and pay the corresponding fees in accordance with the requirements of each registration phase.

In your Personal Center, you can view and manage your completed or ongoing applications.

Press Guests

FIRST welcomes applications for media accreditation from media representatives or organizations worldwide that are actively engaging with the public and fostering connections. Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• 1. Have a long‑term employment relationship with a media organization, with valid proof of employment.
• 2. Have a short‑term cooperation agreement with a media organization, with supporting documentation.
• 3. Be the owner, manager, founder, or legal representative of a media organization, with relevant certification.

Upon successful registration as a media guest, you will receive a personal accreditation pass granting access to screenings, Encore Talks, media meet‑ups, media receptions, Outdoor Greeting sessions, forum workshops, FIRST MART · Central Pitch, and the red‑carpet media zone. You will also receive official support including access to shared promotional materials, assistance with interview arrangements, and services at the on‑site media center.

Press Guest Registration

Open to representatives and professional practitioners from relevant institutions in the global film industry and the broader cultural and entertainment sector, individual or institutional representatives are welcome to apply for online registration. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• 1. Representatives from institutions related to the film industry chain, including film production, development, production, promotion, distribution, marketing, copyright, talent agency, finance and law;
• 2. Representatives from propaganda departments, government cultural institutions, industrial parks, and related promotion units across the country;
• 3. Representatives from professional institutions such as film festivals, film markets, venture capital platforms, and residency programs both domestically and internationally;
• 4. Professional practitioners in film selection, distribution, sales agency, copyright agency, and other related fields.

After successfully registering as an Industry Guest, you can participate in offline events such as the
Financing Forum, Industry Screening, Documentary Labs, Industry Meeting,FIRST MART Welcome Party, and FIRST MART Award Ceremony with your personal guest credentials.

Industry Guest Registration

* Applications will not be accepted if the applicant’s institution is unregistered or unable to provide official documentation.

After successfully registering, Public Education Guests may attend screenings, FIRST MART · Central Pitch, Encore Talks, Open-Air Greetings, forum workshops, and other on-site programs with their credentials.
