“300 Seconds. One Strike.”
Established in 2020, the Short Short Film section is China’s first official festival competition dedicated to super-short formats, featuring the creative development arm, the 300s Short Project. Championing lightweight production and portable devices, the section empowers creators to articulate diverse perspectives on contemporary society, humanity, and technological evolution. It explores innovations in cinematic language within a 5-minute limit, expanding the boundaries of viewing scenarios.
The Short Short Film Competition
As an official competition, this section continuously establishes a pioneering benchmark for works under five minutes. It highlights the creative democratization and technological exploration driven by evolving production methodologies.
Special Screening
The Special Screening presents a rich and diverse ecosystem of short short films to the audience. It encourages creators to broaden their international vision and push the boundaries of personal visual storytelling.

Functioning as an always-ready “REC Campaign,” the 300s Short Project aims to select the year’s most vibrant original 5-minute scripts. The program provides funding, equipment, and technical support to foster a sustainable and positive creative ecosystem.
