Synopsis

During this performance, Bolun Shen invited his daughter to replicate his childhood memory with him before a homecoming lunch with his parents. When Bolun was his daughter’s age, he lived with his grandparents for a year. Every afternoon, when he went home after school, instead of ringing the bells, he began to yell out for his grandparents when he was close by. In March 2022, Bolun’s grandmother was about to be sent to a nursing home, and due to the pandemic lockdown, there was a chance it would be the last time to meet her.
