Synopsis

She then rampaged, fearless and competed for the pink flag, but waiting for her was even greater confusion…
Wu Xichen
1997, he majored in film at Communication University of China with a master's degree. He had been trying to direct films since childhood, and thus formed some intermediate products, such as PINK FLAG, DEAFNESS, THE SQUARE, RAINBOW DETECTION, etc. He has won awards such as the Best Editing Award of the Beijing International Film Festival·The 28th College Student Film Festivel，the Film of the Year and Best Drama Director Award at the 20th Midsummer Beijing International Film Festival.He's still growing up.
Director's statement
In my hometown, one of the wedding customs is to let the children scramble for a pink wedding flag. The child who gets the wedding flag can wave the flag disposedly at the head of the wedding procession. At weddings, the kids all went for the flags. I once got two flags. But it never occurred to me why no girl had ever scrambled for the flag. No one asked about it, and of course no one answered it, and it has became a collective unconsciousness of the village. Gradually, the image of a girl who scramble for the flag began to take shape in my heart.
