2000 Born in Shanghai, China. An experimental animation artist gives birth to handmade films, and installations. Currently Yiyang study in Estonia Academy of Arts. Her film has been selected in some international film festivals such as Animafest Zagreb, and POFF Shorts. She regards herself as the "Bunny mimic Nüwa" in both game and labor.
Director's statement
Last year, three of my friends were pregnant simultaneously through IVF. At the same time, I dreamt of being pregnant as well, but in a non-human form Then, the story of the butterfly mom found me. I completed this animation together with the new born baby, mirroring the vegetative and zooid life of film.
