One script, two scriptwriters, a sad story, an interesting movie.
Director's statement
In the early Ming Dynasty, General Chang Yuchun went north and led his troops to a camp, which was later named Changying. Hundreds of years later, a group of young people stationed there as well, dreaming of becoming directors, scriptwriters, actors and producers… we are one of them. We have lived near Changying for over a decade, and we have found that the atmosphere here is a mix of struggle, sadness, and excitement, but there is also a lot of joy and creativity. Galaxy Writer could reflect the idea of an insignificant writer in a huge galaxy, or an insignificant writer who can create a magnificent and exciting world like a huge galaxy.
