Director's statement

People with disabilities are a group that lives among us but remains unfamiliar to many. We are aware of their existence, but if we don’t have friends with such experiences around us, our understanding of them is minimal. As an actor, I need to experience various kinds of lives. When I wanted to learn more about blind people, I found that substantial information about them was scarce. Simply magnifying the issues of blind people does not allow the public to fully understand this group. Therefore, starting from scratch, I decided to let a newly acquired blind individual start from zero, showcasing the life of blind people through his learning. This approach aims to explain public curiosity, highlight the group’s issues, and break stereotypes.
