Synopsis
One ordinary night in Beijing, Adil, a Uber driver, picks up a drunken passenger. Being afraid that the drunk man will throw up in his beloved car, Adil refuses to take him. However, the person who sends the drunk man to his car keeps begging him and even gives him an extra 200RMB, in case the man vomits in the car. Adil looks at the money and the unconscious drunk man, he then accepts the cash of 200RMB. Taking the risk of the passenger messing up his car, Adil hits the road…

Born in Ürümqi of Xinjiang in 1991, Ikram Nurmehmet went to Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey after high school, and he graduated in 2016 with a degree in The Art of Cinema and TV. He lives in Beijing after returning to China. Most of his works focus on ethnic minorities and marginal men, and he also has short documentaries and commercial works.His short film ELEPHANT IN THE CAR was shortlisted for Hong Kong International Film Festival, FIRST International Film Festival, etc.
