In the meantime, I had a huge interest in it. In next few years, I have been involved in a dozen documentaries as a camera operator. I realized that as a camera operator I cannot make final decisions about film. I think a lots of great images that I shot were not used in the films. As I got older I found I had more ideas that I wanted to present to the audience. Therefore, I decided to make my own documentary film .Also, I made up my mind not only to be a camera operator, but also a documentary director. In the meantime, I started shoot some subjects which I interested in.

Director's statement

I have always been a sports fan. However, I do not seem to know about those “losers”, except for the top 3. China has recently hosted many international sports events, and we have won more medals than before. However, no one was concerned about those ordinary athletes behind. Lian Lian, who is one of their teammates, had learned gymnastics for 11 years, but she could not join the Nation Game of the People’s Republic of China before. She has to give up a chance this time neither because of injury. The only thing she can do is watch the game as an audience. Only athletes who play in the field can be seen, and only winners can be remembered. Although, not every athlete could join the big games and win the big games. Even so, they work so hard with tears and sweat without any complaint. I think that which we call the charm of sports.
